Kansas | Lady who lived across the street from the wife and I when we lived in town died several months back and while we were at our house cleaning up a bit for an open house this weekend another neighbor who had been looking in on her stopped to say hi to us and told me the lady had no children and had left the house and I presume her 09 PT Cruiser to the catholic church. This has been 2-3 months ago since she died and nothing has been done. Just has me curious as to what happens when property is left to a church or other organization? Who decides what to do and when?
As to the medical question; this lady had a history of having seizures, yet she was still driving. Wouldn't a doctor have the power to have the local law take her license away? She'd say hi to me on occasion and say how she loved her new car, and all I could thik of is hoping she didn't have a seizure while out and about and kill someone else. | |
