I got a job coming up where a owner of a 7520 4 wd tractor he wants me to paint it and when done put clear coat on it. What I am running in to is me and him are fighting with is that he what's to use john Deere paint and then clear coat. I have painted a lot of tractors and a corn planter and I wanted to put clear coat on the tractors and planter, but the body shop guy I know really well said you can't put clear coat on paint from the equipment dealer because you mix harder up it is same as clear coat he said. So my cuz said a guy he knows done that to his tractor with no trouble but I never see the tractors that the guy painted his tractors and then clear coat I just only know from what my cuz said. So what I am asking can you use clear coat on equipment dealer paint? Because I have painted our 4020 and my 4440 and just got done painting a farmall M for a guy. Oh can someone help me on how to upload pictuers on to the massages too?
