Central MO | I Agree with twraska. A single stage is just as tough as a clear coat and much easier to paint in all the nooks and crannies around a tractor. When I do clear it is usually just the hood, and fenders. I love the 262 color even on the newer tractors but it is a little darker than the new factory color (but to me its an improvement) Also I have cleared over Deere paint before that had no hardener it, it was a bad experience it was 3-4 weeks before we could spray a test panel that didn't start to bubble and crinkle. We ended up spraying the hood and fenders after about a month of dry time and it looked good at that point but I wouldn't do it again.
