our itc receiver did the same thing, turns out it has a bad connection at the "Y" where the two plugins fork off. Deere wants $150 to repair this connection. Instead talk to your Deere AMS person. They[deere] make a short male to male adapter cord so you can use the female side of the "Y". Sounds like this is a possibility for your problem. Hope this helps.
