| I purchased the same units for my planter last year and had very poor luck with them as I had the first one break in less than 75 acres and lost several more before finishing 300 acres. I told the dealer I would not accept them and I wanted the older more reliable shaft system. He agreed that it was unacceptable and contacted company. They said they knew they were faulty and were coming out with a replacement for the people that bought them. I have as yet not seem mine but supposely within the month. Since you are not the orginal owner I don't have a clue if you can get any help on changing out to something that hopefully will stand up. I know last year there was no way to get parts only the complete unit which I was told was approximately $200 each. My dealer stood behind mine but as yet has not recieved credit from Tru Count. I hope you have better performance from them than I did. I would certainly check into any possibly of getting the improved versions. | |
