West Central, IL | I don't know how old the filter was but I found two dead mice and part of a rag in a tractor I bout. I cleaned it up and used it for another year.
Same tractor was under water about a year and a half ago. Water over the engine and half way up the cab. I got water in the transmission and engine, but nothing in the fuel tank and even used all the diesel that was under water (ran fine and had no problems). It still has the same fuel filter I bought it with. I am not bad on servicing stuff but I have not had any problems with them so I just left them alone.
My dealer did run a sale last month and I got a new of every filter on the thing, so they will get changed this spring. | |
