Eastern Arkansas
If you want cheap and green, Which I know doesn't hardly ever happen, look for a John Deere 6403. Mine is a 2005 model im not sure the years they made them. John deere basically took there old 6400 and started making it againthey are around 95 hp. The tractor is bare bones and does not have any electronic controls on it and has been extremely reliable. Mine has the ABC with 1 through 4 stick shift. (sorry im pretty young and don't know the term for that transmission), I think they were available with other transmissions. It has a cab and if I remember correct it was around 35,000 new. They also made them without cabs. It is my clipper and module builder tractor. I changed the oil on it today and it has 3500 hours and it has never been to the dealership for any work.
I might be mistaken but i think the 6415 was also a value line tractor with very few electronics.
