Kansas | If someone incorrectly enters a higher bid than intended on their next bid (like one too many zeros) does the max bid catch this if the max bid entered is correct and less than the next bid? If someone is watching multiple items in the closing minutes of the auction, I could see how someone wouldn't take time to read confirmation page. It only takes a second to double check, but some people. . . . . .
How does the sales tax issue work? Bought my first out of state online auction item (Nebraska) on Big Iron last week. Invoice had sales tax on it. Filled out form for farm use exemption and tax was removed. Are there some states that charge sales tax on farm machinery? If so, does Purplewave make this clear ahead of time so buyer isn't surprised when stung with buyers premium AND sales tax? I have purchased on Purplewave before, but only items located in KS.
