Depends on how well it was maintained, and what all he fixed in addition to the camshaft. We have some gators out there with 2-3000 hours on them that have never been torn down except for tune ups, carburetor work, and clutches. The State, it it's like ours, frowns on excessive idling, but I'd bet it might have got a lot of start/stop from picking up trash, etc, in the parks. Still ought to see a bunch of hours on it with minimal maintenance. Your tolerance level may vary, but they will run long after you'd think they would give up the ghost.
