Iowa | Check for spec ft/lbs on the PTO slip clutch and the pickup slip clutch. Also like the others have said, if the latches haven't been sub'd then they have probably stretched and should be replaced and readjusted to spec. I do all of my own spec checks and bring the baler back into spec every year. This year I couldn't get the gate latches into spec and had to replace them with the new cast ones, I also ended up rebuilding the PTO slip clutch because it couldn't be brought back into spec. Last year the Netwrap was out of spec. Here is the yearly spec check I do on my JD 567:
