If you can plant inbetween the old corn rows and move residue aside, use starter fert & plant a disease package corn hybrid and side dress your nitrogen you might be OK. If You have a vertical disk available I would run it 2 times over the field and it will dry out & warm up much quicker. Corn on corn still need to do all those things if you are going for the best yeild
