Have a friend that had his DOT courtesy audit this week and was told he could haul the landlord's grain on a farm plate, but would need to have med card, CDL, and be in drug testing pool. Sure wish you could get a consistent answer on this stuff. Oh, and the inspector told him the whole thing was a d#@% joke and they didn't have enough manpower to begin to police it, so they would be setting up at a grain elevator near you this fall so we can come to them.
