Our 9380  has never done that but we had one crack around the center hub and two crack on the inside tube.  We just bit the bullet and replaced ours because we didn't want it to crack somewhere else and have to redo it again. Dealer says new replacement is heavier than original but if it is it can't be much. Our first one went bad at about 2500hrs this has only been used for for use.
