| Another reason for using tractors for transport are the short distances and that you can run a tractor/trailer unit in wet/hilly fields without getting stuck or causing too much compaction compared to a truck.Especially in the area where i come from(southwestern Germany) it wouldnt make any sense to use a truck/semi.And as mentioned above,the strict road restictions dont allow tu use duals on tractors,max width for tractors is 3.0 meter,for combines its 3.5 meter. | |
