Subject: Re: sprayer rig operators

Toluca, IL
I worked for a Case IH Sprayer dealer in IL a few years ago and we had installed on on the center sections of 4260's. The one we installed was able to be turned in about any direction you wanted from the cab to be able to look down at the nozzles, down the boom either direction and even back towards the engine. They were not a weather tight camera but they came with what looked like a clear cake pan cover that sealed it up nicely. The idea came from a fert plant in central IL that had an operator back over a car since he didnt see it. I wish I could remember what brand those were though (maybe MobilVision?), I thought we got them from Heartland Ag Suply in Grand Island, NE. Might check it out. They are pretty crude and rugged compared to the ones now, but they worked really well.
