Subject: Re: JD Autoswath vs. PP Row Flow

Not to be bias but we run all precision planting parts on our JD 1770s (16 and 24 row). We had some considerable trouble with our row flow last spring and had to revert back to the ACCU-RATE to manually controll population which was some hassle. By the end of last spring Precision Planting had updated their software so that Row Flow did work correctly and has had trouble shooting seminars since then- the last was in Corpus Christi, Texas and the Row Flow preformed as intended. Also we run all of our meters with eSets on a meter stand using about 7 different sizes of seed and adjust the singulators untill they show 99% singulation. We have run some PM 40s on the meter stand to compare to eSets and the eSets are far superior, not to say that PM 40s aren't sufficient depending on how deep your pockets are.
