Texas/New Mexico Stateline
krantz - 2/21/2011 10:20 We use 1.25 " sch 80 pvc threaded with stainless steel couplings.

We've got several set up like that, but the drawback is you better figure on changing out those couplers every 5 yr. or so, or when you pull it just for insurance sake. They rust out pretty quick seems like.

The last one we put in the plastic pvc had male and female ends and I really liked the looks of it. Nothing to rust out.

I like the idea of poly tubing all in one piece, but as deep as our water is (400ft) I'm not sure I totally trust it to hold all that weight.
