Smooth...
what depth are u running your 48.5 footer? I currently have a 48.5 footer pulled by 435 horses. My thought process would be farming with two row crop tractors that can give my many options (Versitility). I am 60 percent conventional tillage and 40 percent no till(all soybeans). I was wondering if a 42-44 foot field cultivator could stay ahead of a 24 row planter for corn planting. Then I would love to be able to sidedress 28% (60 foot bar) while still no-till planting soybeans. My dollar/hp would be higher but i would have two tractors that can do all jobs on the farm... Just thinking out loud

That was our exact thinking when we traded our 8970 for the 8530. We usually run about 2" deep and do not have problems with power until we start to climb some of the bigger hills we have.
