Owensville, MO | Not sure where to post this but figured most would see it here. Neighbor has a pile of walnut logs that he aquired in a deal gone wrong with the logger that he had on his place. He asked what they were worth and I have no idea. There's not a logger in the area that I would trust to give me an honest value so here I am. There are 3 logs approx. 17ft. long and 6-8" on the small end, 3 logs approx. 14ft. and 8-10" on the small end, 11 logs approx. 9ft. and 12", and one 6footer by 10"dia. Any idea what would be a fair price to expect if he hauled them straight to the mill himself? They have been in the pile about a year.
