Hi Anton,

If you 8430 is autotrak ready (which I think most of them were) then you need:

CFX-750 unlocked for Omni XP or HP

NavII controller

Platform kit which includes autosense and several other things.

If you tractor is not autotrak ready then you need to buy a steering valve as well.

Yes, autopilot will differ greatly from ez-steer. In my opinion, autopilot is worth every single penny that you pay for it. Autopilot will hold the line much tighter and will turn back in for you on the headlands.

You can calibrate an autopilot yourself if you have a good understanding of how to calibrate the system. If not, then you will never really get the performance you want out of it.
