mind you this is only 4.00, there's 4.01 as well I don't have release notes on it and it was only released to us about 2/3 weeks ago. But I doubt much would've changed (haven't had a chance to use 4.01 so I don't know what it's like).
Biggest thing you'll notice with 4.00 is the look of the run screen, shaded green squares instead of flat colour and ability to show how many times you've gone over a patch (up to 3 times I think).
As for the Nav Controllers, v5.14 or 5.15 I'm not sure which (I have 5.15 but everything is saying 5.14 is the latest to use). attached are the release notes for 5.15.
