Roaming the plains | I rarely get a call because I signed up for the no call list. Been a few threads lately on telemarketers. Have you signed up?
When I do get a call I tell them to take me off of their call list, they legally have to. Pretty easy.
WARNING:
I was billed for ID theft protection on my last phone bill by a 3rd party. Long story short I never signed up and got the charge credited back. Turns out there are scams now that ask "Are you Jim Beam?" When I say yes they take that yes as an agreement for the service and bill me. They have recorded my yes. Several phone companies in lawsuits against these scammers to get them shut down and close the legal loophole that allows this.
Check your phone bill.
