Agree on the shock collar for car chasers.  

To cure a dog from jumping on people is actually quite easy and quick, just step on his back feet when he is rared up (learned that from my grandpa years ago).  The actual stepping on his feet isn't that easy, but it will cure him from that bad habit quickly and it's FREE.  Everyone needs to be told to do this and the jumping will stop within a matter of a couple of days.
