If you would be interested in pulling the plow with any of the tractors on your farm then a pull type plow would probably be the better route. If your just going to be using the MFD tractors with 3-pts. then a 3-pt. model would work as well. I haven't seen any performance difference between a 3pt. or pull type Gold Digger plow by Soil-Max. The first plow we had on our farm was a Johnson and after a few years we got tired of having two tractors tied together we made the switch to a Gold Digger.

A few things that sold us on a Gold Digger were, their transport wheels fold frontward which gives you more clearance for trash flow by the boot of the plow and they also keep 200-250 psi on the wheels for added stability. The wheels going forward also leave you more room at your starts since your not backing the wheels along the side of your trench. Gold Digger's also have a poly plastic along each side of the boot which helps them pull easier. All plows I've seen without this get pulled through the ground once and have 2 inches of dirt stuck to each side turning your 6 inch boot into a 10 inch boot, no need to pull a 10 inch ball of mud through the ground. Also boot length on a Gold Digger is shorter than other resulting in less time to dig starts.

We had intellislope on our Johnson plow and it worked well, now we obviously have it on our Gold Digger too with no complaints, there is no comparison after going from laser to GPS . Very easy to learn system that is very cost competitive with other systems on the market and it can be used with any brand RTK (trimble, deere, ag leader, topcon, ect.)
