Ripley, Ontario Canada | Generally the reply has been to stay with Hydro One. The resellers are only doing the hydro side of the bill, which is usually less than half the bill. Do you still do time of use with the contract? If you use a lot of "Peak" hydro and can get away from TOU pricing, it might be an advantage. I have heard of sudden changes to pricing and fees with some of these contracts. I would start with a short term (1 yr or less) contract if you are really tempted and see what happens. Make sure the contract doesn't automatically renew, and consider that there may well be changes to electricity pricing after the October election if the government changes.......... | |
