Subject: Row unit clutch options on 2600 Kinze

Western Iowa
I have a 16/31 Kinze 2600. Will be putting on row unit clutches this year rather than trade planters, gonna be probably 2 years, then going to a 1790 CCS Deere. Getting a good stand with the kinze (thanks to precision and others) but the thing is too farmer engineered and pulls like a plow.

What is the best route to go with row unit shutoff's, air or electric? I am thinking electric, but what the local dealer showed me meant having 2 drive unit chains to replace the one. And was quoted $400 a row.

What is the best GPS to put behind it? I have a Raven Cruizer now for spraying, and like it, but with switching to a Deere planter in a year or 2, and might pull the kinze planter with an 8420 Deere, would it be better to use JD technology on it or Raven???

Not really interested in using RTK, just want to use the GPS signal, is that realistic?

If I go raven, would like to use it for shutoffs on the sprayer also.........

Sorry to ramble, but looking for some input
