Your dealer is correct.
A scissors lift auger sways side to side a whole lot more than a A-frame cable lift does and if you care to think about it the reason is obvious.
We've got both styles of lift on Sudenga augers and I really like the scissors lift other than that minor inconvienience, we rest the auger on the bin. If its really windy we'll tie the auger to the bin.
Doesn't Harvest International build both styles of lift?
