Subject: DB Planter Factory

Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463
The Bauer plant is located in Paton, Iowa. North central part of the state.

The first picture is the general area. lower right hand corner at the red arrow is the Farm Progress Show site.
The green arrow in the upper left portion of the picture is Paton.
About 22 miles west of the Farm Progess Show site on US-30 is Grand Junction.
Paton is 9 miles north of Grand Junction on Iowa Highway 144.

I suppose many of you may not know where the Farm Progress Show's Iowa site is?
North of Des Moines on I-35 to Ames. West of I-35 about 14 miles on US-30.

In the second picture the green arrow is the new factory on the east side of Paton.
The red arrow is the location of the first Bauer shop.

Picture three: A closeup of the new building. The Google quility is not very good in this area. It is hard to tell a white roofed building from a concrete lot.

Picture four: The first Bauer shop in Paton. The black arrow points to the first portion of the shop. To the north is the addition they made probably more than 15 years ago. I felt it was quite the deal, in-floor heat and all that good stuff.

Picture 5: A street view of the new factory. No street view for in town Paton.

Bauer used to be my welding shop, and I have been in the old shop many times, But I have never been in the new one.
