Search for a farm tire handbook on line. Load capacity depends on air pressure, foot print, and tire size. 16.9 won't carry as much as 18.4 and 42 will carry more than 38.
At 16 psi a 16.9-38 will carry 4400 pounds according to my Goodyear Farm tire Handbook.
At 16 psi a 18.4-38 will carry 5200 pounds.
At 16 pis an 18.4-42 will carry 5520 pounds. All single tires. Less per tire if dualed or tripled.
