Subject: Horsepower needed for 19 knife NH3 toolbar

NE Iowa
Currently in the market for a different NH3 applicator. Was pretty certain I was going to end up with a 17 knife, but a used 19 knife came along my way as an option to consider. Got an 8770 Deere 4wd to drag it around with with 20.8R42's and 2000lb of rear ballast. Would be in chiseled cornstalks as well as no-till bean stubble. Curious if I've got enough tractor to drag 19 knives in very rolling clay/silt loam with coulters and sealers around descent? Chipping the tractor would be an option I'd consider if I need another 50 horse or so.(And yes, I know I should buy a bigger tractor rather than chip the one I've got, but I haven't found my money tree at this point to do that) I would appreciate all your thoughts.
