| It is Conway. I don't know how things are insured. The grain actually belongs to CO-Mark. The bins hadn't been used for several years, because they are a pain to empty, I think. But with the wheat surplus, Co-Mark committed to keep the grain in for 2 years, and the COOP refurbished the legs, and whatever else was needed. We've had a bit of a bad spell lately. Last fall (2009), the propane line feeding one of the grain dryers leaked, and some propane ended up in the office building, with a couple of small explosions. Again, no one hurt, but the place was shut down for a few days. (and the office got a bit of a remodel) | |
