Granville, OH | Went with Eyster Harvesting in 2009 as my college internship. Joined up with them in MT when they had a guy coming home to help his dad and ran combine there and ND. Drove truck during corn harvest in Eastern CO and Western KS. Joe Wenger runs the crew and is a great guy to work for in my opinion, very even tempered and easy to get along with. I had lots of fun and learned a lot from them that was really useful for our first year farming on our own this year. I even had the chance to hunt prairie dogs and ski in the Rockies. I would do it again if I didn't have job offers after graduation. My only regret is not being able to go the whole season. | |
