I'm not a red guy, but if I recall correctly, the 7140 is not a real late model? I'm running and EZsteer with WAAS on a 4450 and 4250 ('86/'88 models) and discovered that I had to increase the freeplay up to about 3 or 3.5", and angle/turn down to about 12 degrees, to make it aquire the line soon enough, and make corrections soon enough. Then play with agressiveness...I think mine's on about 117% on the 4450 (mfwd) and about 130% on the 4250 (2wd). These are totally different settings than we had last year on our 8300. I also found that it helped to set the diff lock on the tractor in soft ground...took out most of the small wiggles. Wasn't a problem on firm no-til. Also, make sure you run the Terrain comp calibration. Hope you get it going!
