The later ones work on the early ones. Available on Ebay all of the time. I got one I would sell for $175 (use email). Plugs into a plugin under middle of dash right above transmission hump. You can set them to charge protect or set idle on them. Works very well to get it to warm up faster on winter morning. They were optional on all pickups.
