Currently I chop the stalks with a rolling stalk chopper, rip with a blue jet no till ripper and disk before I plant. Sometimes I don't rip everything, just depends on the spring we have. Have cows and nowhere else to put them in the spring except on the cornstalks. Wondering if a disking and then the one tripper would work.
Anybody have any experience strip tilling flood irrigated ground?
