I have a 65,000 BTU LB White heater in my garage. It is a little overkill but the price was right. I don't use it but for when I'm working on the vehicles. I like it fine except for burning the expensive LP. In your case, I believe I would go with the electric heat. Electric company may give you a break or a rebate as well. Good luck.
