Northern Illinois
6433-43 W design on disc gangs don't ridge. 22" blades with 11" rolling baskets really break up lumps and root crowns. Get HD disc blades. We run 10" deere perma lock sweeps on 9" centers. Sunflowers pushes 6 bar high residue drag. We run 3 bar spike w/rolling basket. Excellent tool. Ran one 30,000 acres and never had any frame cracks. Will go through standing stalks. Trash flow good. Does nice job tilling and leveling. Makes nice seed bed. Down falls: All greasable bearings which need to be regular greased or you will be changing them especially as they are Chinese bearings. As bearings failed we replace with American bearings and solved problem. 12.5x15 main frame tires to light. Put airplane tires on and solves problems. Transport height is a little high 14.6. Put transport stops in and you can suck wheels down to 14.0. Operator has to pay attention as if ran too fast will not quite close last rank of shanks. This will take all of 450 hp to pull. Good luck!
