Subject: RE: Pickup valuation: why such a disparity

North Central Iowa

A '95 GM pickup in NICE shape and with low miles will probably bring around $5000 if you're patient, especially at this time of year.  Guys looking at used pickups will find that most of the ones available are close to new price and/or have a ton of miles on them, so if yours is in good shape, you've got a pretty easy seller.  You can always just start out near the top of the range you've found and see what you get for offers.  When they try and talk you down, you can say where you got the price and why you're working from that price.  Luckily, you have a relatively rare commodity, so there are people looking for one.

I'll be surprised if you don't get some interest just because of your post.

Mike
