in the back of the ops manual they should have cat recomended maintenace schedual. It should tell you what to do and when. If i remeber right 2000 hrs service includes running the overhead and changing all fuilds. I would send in oil samples also.


I will send a word of caution with that comment, I believe that in the large frame tractors, that they did not put a service interval on the bogie wheel hubs.

Other then that, these guys are spot on. Can you let us know what tractor you are looking at? Then we can tell you a little about the different engines.
