IMO unless you are using alot of lights why not leave it alone, worked for 35+ years. Have a 4020 D 24V system just done the gen and reg for $250 I know it has been all of 20 yrs. since it was rebuilt the last time. Take you gen to a private starter and alt shop JD will really lighten up you wallet!!!!
