Subject: Re: Deers sheds

Fayetteville Arkansas
I shot another one Saturday evening, had my choice of five bucks in the field and all of them still had all their headgear. One was missing a front leg but he has been around for four years now and does pretty good except in fighting, he is a big bodied deer(220 pounds) but just doesn't have the ability to fight with his counterparts. Alot of the time when he eats he lays down and eats whatever he can reach then adjusts his spot....I think either a car or a bullet got his leg as you can see it is very well healed. This does make his off side rack deformed while the injury side of the rack has 5 nice points while growing and usually gets broke off fairly quickly before season....so this makes him unshootable by the 3pt rack rule....
