Beautiful area, Chuck. Lots of history in that area- Calumet was close to be the Capitol of Michigan one time. My brother in law and his family live in Chassell, just south of Houghton. He works at Michigan Tech.
Wife and I have a place on Little Bay De Noc, but that's 3 hours the wrong way (for you) from Houghton.
