SW Wisconsin | In Wisconsin I don't think you can get rid of a renter during the winter months. I've had good and bad luck renting out a farm house on another farm we own. I had one renter that was real good so I kept the rent very low so they would stay, ended up being tenants for ten years. My last renter couldn't get the garbage to the end of the driveway for free pickup, was always late on rent, couldn't hardly mow the yard with a riding mower that I furnish. I now drive in past a empty house when I do chores and it will remain empty for the next 3 years until my son turns 18 and moves in it. Then my problems will probably really multiply! | |
