Just got mine delivered last night. Oranges looked a little under ripe but they feel okay. Apples gave off an aroma that was absolutely great. Will be trying some tonight. Rich, what kind of apples did you get? Here, they switched a couple of years ago to gala from red delicious. Fantastic improvement in flavor. Our families little Christmas tradition is to order an extra 5 boxes of oranges and 5 boxes of apples, 200 # of each, that we deliver to the community assistance center for the Christmas baskets. It is a good way to make your dollars do double duty in the community. |
