We use it just like the flowers whether it's raw or cooked with it all mixed together. We eat most of ours cooked in just enough water, to steam it till it just starts to get tender, with butter or olive oil and salt and pepper added for seasoning. We don't cook it till it gers mushy but leave some crunch to it. As far as eating it raw I like the stalk better than the tops.
