Subject: Ez Steer/500 in a Combine with offset header???

North West Kansas

I installed the 500w/ezsteer in the combine but we have a 36' 974 Mac Don which is off set to the right aprox 6'.  So I set my implement up with a 72" RH offset.  Set my A-B line and goes straight across the field.  Until I turn around now I am off line 12', manual steer across the field and turn back around to go the same direction I was going as I set my A-B line and I am right on line again.

WHY?

I have change my offset settings, done about everything I could think of and keep getting the same results.  If I was going around the field instead of back/forth I think it would work for me. Or if I had a centered head.

Thinking about setting my implement width to 6' and going trying that.

Any other suggestions?
