Subject: Hagie 2100 steering wheel turns hard

I'm trying to get an ez steer to work in a 2100 Hagie. the steering system seems to have very little free play in it. The problem I'm having is the steering wheel turns unbelievably hard by hand and when you put the ez steer on against the wheel it even gets worse. If you straiten all of the tilt mechanisms it does improve it very marginally. The steering column has new bushing put in it which I though would help it turn easier then when they were wore out. However, all the new bushings did was take the major slop out of the steering wheel. It seems that the tech. used plenty of lube on all the moving parts. Surly, Hagie did not make them turn this hard from the factory?? Does anyone have any idea? I Even had the thought of putting a Semi wheel in if I could find one that would fit and had some grip to it.
