West Union, Illinois

I can see how you could get to that point, been there/done that.  Don't have an easy answer.   You get so focused on doing what has to be done you lose track of what is important.

I remember a sales manager telling me if I wanted to be a good salesman I needed to act like one.  That is sometimes the key.  To use an ad slogan, the first step is "Just Do It".  Spend time with the family, go to church, stop by the coffee shop, run a few errands.

You have to develop a way that works for you.  Personally I have found the best thing for me is when things kind of catch up to run some errands by myself.  A parts run for something not critical to get home with may take 2-3 hours for a 45 minute run.  I just take my time, go a different route, stop a few places I don't normally stop, maybe buy an ice cream cone, just do something to unwind.

That may not work for you.  But find a way to unwind.
