Subject: Too late to plant rye for cover-Central Ohio???

Dalton, OH

Still have some rye seed setting here and have the time.  Just wondering what people thought about planting rye for a cover crop near the Columbus, Ohio area.  Its really dry, so maybe it won't even come up.  Forecast is for highs in the 50-60's for the next two weeks and pretty much no chance of rain.  Probably no-till drill it so it has better soil contact to get it growing faster.  All opinions appreciated!!

Thanks,
