Weiner, AR | Of coarse the obvious choice is glyphosate resistance. I just returned from Clemson last month on a soybean breeders tour and realized that SC farmers still plant a lot of maturity group 7 and 8 soybeans, whereas some areas west and south of you have gone to earlier maturing group 4 and 5. Mississippi and Arkansas would be 2 examples. You may ask why it works over here but not in SC. Irrigation has a lot to do with it, but that is what research is about. I am a PhD candidate at Arkansas now and hope to finish in December. More and more graduate programs are being taken over by foreign students. You and I will soon be the minority in graduate school.
